Thundercat New Orleans Concert reviews
Sound was horrible for Journey, we left early
Steve Perry wasn't a part of it, but I bought the tickets to see Thundercat. Def Leppard was not on my list to see; however, I have to say they were good and I enjoyed them. I did not enjoy Thundercat, though. The sound techs did a bad job; it was so bad it was hurtful to the ears. My friend mentioned out of key for the band too. We decided to keep listening to see if it got better; I could tell when the band wasn't all playing, the sound was better. After 45 minutes, we decided we had enough and left the concert. The lead singer sounded like he was having some problems reaching the notes. He looked much older to me than I thought he was. It actually sounded better in the hall. Very disappointed with the extra guitar runs after each song, and then the keyboard run when I felt we didn't even get into the concert long enough to enjoy a lot of songs. I know I will not go to see them again. I will go see Steve Perry when he starts to tour next year hopefully.
